Swiss-built systems for Humans, Identity, Agents & Borders.
CBI Software plans, builds and operates secure software for migration, digital identity and government processes, and applies its engineering, AI and compliance expertise to public and private mandates in Switzerland, the EU and the UAE.
Expertise
Three disciplines, one subject: the movement and identity of people.
We are specialists, not generalists. Everything we build and advise on concerns how people cross borders, prove who they are, and settle, and how the institutions responsible for those processes stay compliant, auditable and fast.
Migration & case platforms
Application-management software for investment-migration advisories, running the full client lifecycle from onboarding and due diligence to government submission and naturalisation.
- Due-diligence & screening workflows
- Document legalisation chains
- Immutable, hash-chained audit trails
- White-label, multi-tenant by design
Government mandates & digital identity
Planning and delivery of public-sector systems for immigration, settlement and digital identity, engineered to the highest civil and government assurance levels.
- System design & feasibility studies
- Digital-identity & e-ID architectures
- People-logistics & settlement processes
- Delivery from Switzerland, on-site where mandated
Consulting & engineering
Software architecture, AI implementation and compliance-process engineering for regulated organisations, from first feasibility to delivered, operated system.
- AI applied to regulated workflows
- Compliance & due-diligence tooling
- Secure cloud & data-sovereignty architecture
- Senior specialists, augmented delivery
Agentic systems we have already shipped.
Delivered and running today, for a Swiss investment-migration advisory firm and in our own operation. Client details available under NDA.
MCP knowledge server
A production Model Context Protocol + REST API serving structured investment-migration knowledge to AI agents, the client’s single source of truth, consumed by websites, assistants and internal tools alike.
AI work environment
An always-on agentic operations server: automated content pipelines, scheduled autonomous jobs, monitoring and self-healing loops, running the client’s daily operations without human triggering.
AI assistant integrations
Custom Claude connector and ChatGPT app, internal and client-facing, giving staff and clients conversational access to the firm’s knowledge base with controlled scope.
Case-management platform
The AMS at the centre of this company: regulated migration casework with row-level tenant isolation, hash-chained audit trail and gated compliance workflow, in production development with its first advisory.
Agent-ready web engineering
Websites built for the agentic web: structured data, explicit AI-crawler policy, answer-engine readiness, and a security posture a visitor can verify from their own browser. This site is the reference implementation.
Procurement intelligence
An automated multi-market screen of Swiss, German, EU and US public tenders with award-history collection, winners, prices, categories, running daily on always-on infrastructure we operate ourselves.
Public sector
Sovereign systems for authorities that cannot outsource their jurisdiction.
Switzerland decided that some data cannot sit inside a platform it can neither inspect nor operate without its vendor. We build the opposite: systems small enough to audit, Swiss enough to fall under Swiss law alone, and structured so the authority can keep running them without us.
Advisory & specification
Requirements, architecture and feasibility work before anything is procured, including evaluating what the market can actually deliver, and on what terms.
- Requirement and architecture definition
- Technology and supplier evaluation
- Sovereignty and deployment-model assessment
Border & migration data
The operator-facing layer around digital border processes, case handling, exception workflows, reconciliation and reporting across road, rail and air.
- Identity continuity across modes of travel
- Exception and manual-review workflows
- Reconciliation and management reporting
Evidence, retention & audit
The compliance layer around sensitive operational data, including material captured by sensors, cameras and aerial systems operated by public authorities.
- Tamper-evident, hash-chained records
- Purpose limitation and retention enforcement
- Who accessed what, when, under which legal basis
AI inside the compliance perimeter
Document understanding, entity resolution and anomaly detection applied to regulated casework, always as decision-support, never as the decision.
- OCR, MRZ and document classification
- Name matching, transliteration, screening
- Every AI-assisted step logged and reviewable
How we work. We advise, specify, build, integrate and operate. We do not manufacture. Equipment comes from established specialist manufacturers we bring in: biometric and fingerprint capture, self-service kiosks and e-gates, document and chip readers, flow sensors, and unmanned systems operated by civil authorities. They supply the hardware; the architecture, software, data model and compliance layer stay with us, and stay Swiss.
Standards
Engineered for the most demanding buyers we know: governments and banks.
Swiss data sovereignty
Sensitive data is processed and stored in Switzerland, end to end. No US-cloud dependency on the sensitive path, a verifiable architecture, not a marketing claim.
Security as a first principle
Field-level encryption for the most sensitive records, strict tenant isolation enforced in the database itself, and least-privilege access, designed in from the first line of code.
Everything auditable
Every mutation of record is written to an immutable, hash-chained audit log. What happened, who did it, and when, provable years later.
The human stays in charge
Our systems support and document decisions; they never replace the accountable professional. Flagged cases route to people, with rationale on record.
Built to be inspected
Reproducible infrastructure, documented architecture, clean IP boundaries, prepared for third-party security review and procurement due diligence.
AI with discipline
We apply AI where it measurably accelerates regulated work, always subordinate to auditability, data residency and the human decision-maker.
Flagship platform
An application-management system for investment migration, built in Switzerland, in production development with its first advisory.
Our flagship product runs the citizenship- and residency-by-investment client lifecycle end to end: sales quotation, gated onboarding, per-family-member documentation with full legalisation tracking, sanctions and adverse-media screening through swappable providers, and milestone-based case management through to naturalisation.
It encodes a principle we consider non-negotiable: no engagement proceeds until screening is clean, enforced by the system's state machine, not by convention. The platform is white-label and multi-tenant from its first line of code, and is being developed and hardened in daily use with its first advisory tenant.

Company
A Swiss firm, founder-led, built for the long term.
CBI Software has been registered in Zurich since 2020 as CBI Software GmbH (UID CHE-287.787.509). We are founder-owned and independent, no venture pressure, no conflicting interests, no incentive to steer a client's decision.
Our roots are in investment migration, one of the most compliance-intensive industries there is. Building software that regulators, banks and governments can trust taught us the standard we now apply to every mandate.
We deliver with a deliberately lean model: senior specialists, AI-augmented engineering, and contract experts drawn in per mandate. Clients work with the people who actually build, and for larger programmes we partner within established consortia.
We take on work selectively. If a mandate doesn't fall within our subject of people, identity and the systems around them, we will say so, and where we can, point you to someone better placed.
